Raspberry Syrup Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine Ingredients: In a saucepan, mix the raspberries and water. Heat over medium-high until it reaches a boil.
Simmer: Reduce heat to low and let simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the raspberries to break down.
Cool & Strain: Remove from heat and cool slightly. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a bowl, pressing to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids.
Dissolve Sugar: Return the raspberry liquid to the saucepan, add sugar, and stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the syrup thickens slightly, about 5-10 minutes.
Cool & Store: Let the syrup cool completely. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
#Note from Baza
